When most people think of Okanagan Lake, they think of sandy beaches and warm water. However all this paradise can quickly transform. The lake is settled in a deep valley facing North and South and this creates very windy and rough offshore like conditions with irregular waves that can exceed three feet. Add speed into this equation and you have a recipe for a very uncomfortable ride that is equally tough on the boat and its passengers. Experiencing this far too often I set out to find an affordable boat that could do it all. It had to be Fast (naturally) Tough, Safe, pleasing to the eye and most of all completely CUSTOM.

One name that kept coming up was SUPERBOAT. I knew this manufacturer was more than capable of building what we needed but watching offshore races on TV and reading their impressive write-ups was not enough. So in august 2005 we hopped a plane for Long Island NY.

There we met up with the famous John Coen, owner of Superboat, and after getting a tour of their facility and checking out the quality of their craftsmanship, we decided to make a deal for the purchase of two Y2K 30 hulls.

We are now a dealer and specialize in the Y2K 30, and also include their full line of 21- 34’ V-hulls, Cats and the new 21, 24 and 30’ centre consol.

SUPERBOAT does not mass-produce their hulls, each and every one is different and hand made one at a time.

SUPERBOAT has been building boats for over 30 years and has won many National and World titles. All this translates into a very durable design that has been tested with the up-most punishment that only Offshore racing can deliver. All this becomes very clear as you start the boat for the first time.

Trigger Performance inc. is now offering the Y2K 30 as a full custom package. Choosing from a variety of different colors, engine packages, interior and exterior layout, the customer is in full control of the final Product.
